Inconspicuous Adversary Strikes

Listen in app
A young man, Brian Davis, was born in Britain and went to India, in the Sundarbans swamps, to help his uncle bring down a tiger, a men eater; it proved challenging to hunt down this animal. Many others had tried before and were unsuccessful. He was good with firearms and a skilful hunter. He managed to kill the man-eater; it was a close call.

He later returned to Britain and studied and practised law; after that, he worked in a bank in London. That was during Queen Victoria's era. The young man also wanted to fulfil his dreams of owning his fleet of ships and achieved it over time by starting with two vessels.

After working for the bank, he was later employed by an elite family and married a woman in that same family. The wife turned out to be a drunkard and was unfaithful during their marriage.
He decided to leave his employment with his in-laws and start his own business. It was an instant success... Subsequent unfortunate events started happening; he lost his daughter and his two newly purchased ships; they were blown up at sea, losing all the people and cargo on board. He was viciously attacked, and so were some of his staff. Scot Land Yard was busy trying to solve that problem, and it seemed like a vendetta by whom?
His ex-in-laws took over the loan on his newly purchased ships, and they tried to seize his vessels.
To save his company, he took on an assignment to find a son of a wealthy Belgian family who was lost in the interior of Africa. Other people were also looking for the same person to kill him.
While travelling to the Mountain of the Moon, Ruwenzori mountain in Uganda, they had to go through Tsavo, Kenya and came across the killer lions, men eaters. A pair of lions also attacked them while on their journey. Brian was skilled with guns and with his Winchester repeater and brought down the man-eater. He must succeed in saving his company back in Britain.
