Chariot’s movement is fueled by planning and willpower.

We become the Chariot when charging toward goals for which we have carefully prepared or when putting muscle behind causes that stir the blood.

Without genuine ardor behind our ambitions, our victories will be short term and hollow.

ensure that the goals we go after are not merely self-serving, but in some way benefit others,

Yet unless the ego is kept in check, we become vulnerable to shadow forms of our power, such as pursuing a goal so zealously that people stepping into our Chariot path get flattened.

The charioteer’s apparent ease with the reins’ invisibility indicates that he has moved beyond the ego-driven belief that he is solely in charge

. He understands that his success, inner and outer, ultimately requires copiloting with unseen guidance

This awareness will keep him from succumbing to hubris and grandiosity or delusions of invincibility

His quest is not free of pain.
